Speedy Signs Rotorua Celebrate Success at Industry Awards

Owners of Speedy Signs Rotorua are celebrating after winning their 5^th award from the signage industry’s annual premiere event. Co-owners Richard Haigh and Darren Burborough entered a project for Rotorua District Council into the New Zealand Sign and Display Association’s (NZSDA) annual event, and were recognised for their excellent work for the fifth year running.

                This event acknowledges outstanding work from the industry’s best, and has become a highlight in the sign industry’s calendar. Winning a bronze award in the way-finding category highlights Speedy Signs Rotorua’s commitment to produce high quality signage. The entry, entitled ‘Street History’, is a collection of directional signs situated around the heart of Rotorua that display historic information and stories about the area.

Since initiation, the awards programme has recognized over 1,000 excellent signs and displays.
