Exmouth PCYC brings Dog Show to town

Exmouth PCYC and the Shire of Exmouth partnered together to host a Dog Show on Thursday 16 July, to offer a free and entertaining event to the community during the School Holiday period.

The event has been run in previous years and proved again to be very popular this year, as the locals certainly love to show off their dogs.

“The Dog Show is a bit of fun for the whole family, and it’s great to celebrate our dogs as they add so much to our lives,” said PCYC Centre Support Officer, Lauren Rampling.

Shire Ranger David George and Vet Nurse Shayne Napier had the unenviable task of trying to decide who is top dog, as the Judges for the Show.

The winners were:

  • Best Exmouth Special Ginger runner up - trigger
  • Best Pedigree – Summer – runner up -  leo
  • Obstacle Course – Lulu – runner up - Summer
  • Best Trick – Ruby runner up - Lulu
  • Most Obedient Ruby & Toby joint winners
  • Best Dress Up – Lulu runner up – Pea Diddler
  • Cutest Dog – Toby runner up Ceaser
  • Saddest Eyes –Leo runner up - Jewels
  • Waggliest Tail – Pea Diddler runner up – Lulu

PCYC would like to thank the judges for volunteering their time and expertise, as well as the Exmouth Gymnastics Club, who lent some equipment for the Obstacle Course.
