Apex Expands Global Footprint with the Opening of New Office and Customer Experience Centre in Sydney

Apex CEO Kent Savage will speak about trends in Cloud-based Industrial Vending.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – (4 September 2015) – Apex Supply Chain Technologies announced today the official opening of its new Asia Pacific office, build centre and Customer Experience Centre in Belrose with a meet-and-greet reception on 10 September at 7:30 am at Heard Agency in Redfern. CEO Kent Savage will be on hand to discuss trends and share marketplace insights on automated self-serve supply chain technologies.

“We are excited to announce the opening of our Asia Pacific Office and Customer Experience Centre in Sydney Australia,” said Savage. “We’ve been supporting customers in the region for several years now, and with the opening of Apex Asia Pacific office, build centre and our Customer Experience Centre, we can provide enhanced support, demonstration and training assistance to our customers and distribution partners,” Savage said.

Apex provides Cloud-based automated industrial vending solutions, lockers, smart store cabinets, intelligent controlled spaces and other dispensing solutions that enable companies in manufacturing, industrial and service sectors to manage, track and control tools, direct and indirect materials, supplies, parts, handheld assets, as well as retail click-and-collect self-serve order pick-up. Apex solutions, powered by proprietary Connect n’ GoTM technology and its Trajectory CloudTM platform, are used by more than 15,000 corporate clients worldwide in industries like manufacturing, transportation and fleet, automotive aftermarket, distribution and logistics, mining and quarrying, and healthcare – wherever stock-outs are extremely costly or potentially hazardous, and where staying competitive means keeping your business up and running. Apex devices are also used in the retail, hospitality and restaurant industries to provide 24/7 self-serve, click-and-collect order pickup.

“Australia’s growing industrial and services sectors are challenged every day by tough global competition.  We believe the timing is ideal for companies looking to become more competitive to adopt Apex 24/7 automated technologies,” said Savage. “Apex solutions provide businesses an easy way to increase productivity, lower costs and make better decisions using robust business intelligence information right at their fingertips,” Savage explained. “Our customers report greater accountability, reduced consumption and show an average savings of 30 percent or more with our solutions.  That’s real value.”

Apex global user base includes Amazon, P&G, 3M, GE and Fastenal, with a number of major multinationals already in the process of deploying Apex technology in Australia.

“We’re also seeing tremendous interest among retailers and distribution centres who need to manage the distribution of high-cost RF scanners, accessories, tablets, mobile devices, and label printers,” Savage stated. “Our solutions automate the check-out and check-in of these valuable items, and provide greater productivity and reduced labour and replacement costs with 24/7 visibility of who’s using each item and when it’s due back,” Savage concluded.

With the opening of its new Asia Pacific facilities, Apex now has five regional locations including its headquarters in North America, as well as Colombia, the UK and Germany. The Sydney media reception will take place on 10 September from 7.30 am to 11.00 am at Heard Agency, Suite 1-5, Level 3, 7-9 Gibbons Street, Redfern NSW 2016.
