Announcement posted by Pathlore Software 02 Dec 2004
Pathlore Software Corporation, a global leader in providing learning management software and services to industry and government, has appointed Nicola Roberts to the newly created position of Professional Services Consultant, Australia and New Zealand.
Pathlore created the role due to the growing demand for learning management systems in the corporate and government sectors. According to David Hobbs, Director of Sales and Services Australia and New Zealand, Compliance issues and corporate governance requirements mean organisations are under increasing pressure to be accountable for the training they deliver to staff. A Learning Management Suite provides a solution that identifies and responds to training needs, delivers training to learners and documents the results.
In the past twelve months, Pathlore has experienced significant growth in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Currently more than 35 percent of its international customer base is located in this region.
In the role of Professional Services Consultant Roberts will work with corporate and government organisations to ensure they have the systems in place to accurately identify learning needs, track staff training and assist in the evaluation of ROI of training programs.
Roberts will also undertake business feasibility studies for new clients in conjunction with Pathlores content and service partners including LogicaCMG, Documentum and Webex.
Roberts joins Pathlore with more than five years experience in the development and delivery of training programs. Most recently she worked with Quantum Management Services in Canada where she was Supervisor of IT Training and Implementation.
According to David Hobbs, Nicola brings a unique combination of skills to this role. In particular her experience in training delivery gives her an intimate knowledge of the financial, time and logistical barriers organisations face when training staff.
