myosh sponsors Safety In Action Melbourne

Announcement posted by myosh 07 Sep 2015

The Safety in Action Melbourne exhibition will open at 10am next Tuesday at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As the longest running safety exhibition in Australia, Safety in Action has attracted safety professionals around the nation and beyond over the past 17 years.

myosh continues its major sponsorship of this premier safety event and will be performing an interactive live demonstration of their latest safety management software tools at the exhibition’s free seminars.

In the last couple of years, changes to WHS legislations have resulted in increased penalties for non-compliance in the Australian safety industry. A tiered regime of penalties has been introduced with a maximum penalty for the most serious breaches or $3 million for a corporation and $600,000 and/or five years imprisonment for individuals.

Organisations are understanding that a safety management system will help ensure compliance, reduce risk and improve safety. Implementing safety management software can also increase productivity through reduced paperwork and influence insurance based commercial overheads. There is a need to improve safety culture within organisations and mobile software tools help to empower staff to take ownership of safety.

Adrian Manessis, Business Development Officer from myosh will present an interactive demonstration involving the audience and plenty of humour. He will demonstrate how Safety management software tools can help control workplace safety. His presentation will discuss how safety management apps empower staff to take ownership of safety by quickly logging incidents and reporting hazards in the workplace and how safety dashboards provide management with powerful visual charts that allow better decision making and enhance safety throughout the company.

Join Adrian and many other safety industry professionals at Australia’s largest safety exhibition on the 15th, 16th and 17th of September, at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. for more information, visit myosh.com
