Roadshamer releases the Parents' Alert System to encourage safer P-Platers

Announcement posted by Roadshamer Australia 17 Sep 2015

Giving parents more ability to ensure safer young drivers
Roadshamer.com Australia has launched the Parents Alert system aimed at helping parents know when their young drivers are driving dangerously.

Parents subscribing to the system will receive a bumper sticker to notify other drivers that the vehicle has been registered to the system.

Any time a submission (text, video or photo) has been made concerning the vehicle, parents will receive a notification of the submission, even before we have approved it.

Text reports will not be published on the site as it does not contain any tangible proof, but will be sent to them so reporting will no longer be limited to just drivers with dashcams.

The bumper sticker itself may also act as a deterrent to young drivers against knowingly driving badly and hopefully improve their overall safety.
