Controversial AFL football manager Ricky Nixon will be a guest speaker at the
Money In Sport( MIS) conference to be held at Jupiters on the Gold Coast on
Tuesday and Wednesday November 17/18 2015.
Nixon, the first super-agent in Australian sport, paved the way for million
dollar deals with his Club 10 team of players including Gary Ablett, Jason
Dunstall, Wayne Carey and Tony Lockett, will reveal secrets about negotiation,
intelectual property, managing players and much more.
He successfully changed the laws regarding the rights to athlete's images by
negotiating back from the AFL 80% of all royalties to be paid to players from
the usage of a players name, face and image in all marketing.
