Melbourne, Australia—18 September 2015—Jacaranda, the Australian School Division of Wiley, a leading global learning company, today announced that it has been named the Australian Publisher Association’s 2015 Secondary Publisher of the Year for the fourth year in a row, as voted by teachers and booksellers across the country.

Established in 1993, the Educational Publishing Awards Australia are organised by the Australian Publisher Association to reward innovation and leading edge educational publishing. With awards for primary, secondary, TAFE and vocational, and tertiary, the coveted Publisher of the Year award is based on extensive polling of teachers, principals and booksellers. The survey, conducted by an independent research company, recognises the top publisher across a range of criteria including quality, readability, design, curriculum matching, customer service, training, marketing and innovation.

Jacaranda has a proud history of winning the Secondary Publisher of the Year award, having won more than ten times since 1998.

We are extremely delighted and humbled to win this award for the fourth consecutive year,” said Chris Gray, General Manager, Global Education for Wiley Australia. “Winning is affirmation of the progress that we are making as we partner with schools and teachers to help learners achieve their full potential. We believe that through our work, we are making a difference in people's lives.”
