Australia’s most innovative schools revealed

Announcement posted by Key Media 06 Oct 2015

Forty schools around the country have been recognised in the inaugural Innovative Schools list, by The Educator magazine in partnership with Schoolbox and Digistorm Education.

This list, selected following a national call for entries conducted earlier this year, features those schools at the forefront of change and innovation in education.

From new learning spaces to curriculum design, use of technology and more, the shortlisted schools are, each in their own way, moving the education industry forward.

The Educator editor Iain Hopkins said competition was tight.

“We received high-quality submissions from 177 schools around the country – schools of all different sizes, demographics and teaching styles,” said Hopkins.

“The forty that made the Innovative Schools list are truly inspiring and at the cutting edge in everything from pedagogy to technology.”

The Innovative Schools list is featured in the new issue of The Educator magazine – the business of education.
