Arnott's invites Adelaideans to Twist their own Fave

Announcement posted by Porter Novelli 16 Oct 2015

The Arnott’s 150th Anniversary Family Day tour is underway – next stop Adelaide, on Saturday 17 October 2015
To celebrate 150 years of baking Australia’s favourite biscuits, Arnott’s is inviting biscuit aficionados across the country to design their very own Twisted Fave – a favourite Arnott’s biscuit, with a modern twist.

With Arnott’s biscuits found in 95% of Australian households, everyone has their favourite Arnott’s biscuit – with South Australians adoring Jatz and local exclusive, Yo Yo. Now, Arnott’s is asking its fans to get creative and turn some of their most iconic biscuits on their heads.

To kick-off the creativity, throughout spring, Arnott’s Mobile Biscuit Bakery is travelling to five locations across the country for a series of 150th Anniversary Family Days.

With a rich heritage in South Australia (with a state-of-the-art bakery currently located in Marleston making 6.5 million tonnes of chocolate each year and over 15,000 tonnes of flour sourced for Arnott’s biscuits from Kangaroo Island farmers ) the Arnott’s 150th Anniversary Family Day tour visits Adelaide on Saturday 17 October.

Adelaideans can visit the Arnott’s Mobile Biscuit Bakery to spread, stack, split, sprinkle and shake up their very own Twisted Fave using an Arnott’s biscuit base and topping with their favourite ingredients – from chocolate and caramel to coconut and sprinkles.

By joining the celebrations, there’s the chance for Aussies to win $10,000 and have their biscuit produced especially for them by Arnott’s expert bakers. All they need to do – take a photograph before scoffing their Twisted Faves and upload the pic to twistedfaves.com.au or share via Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #TwistedFaves. The winner, as selected by a panel of Arnott’s experts, will be announced in December.
