Vibes On A Summer’s Day Early Bird Tickets Sell Out In Less Than 15 Minutes

Much loved music all-dayer back and sparking massive interest amongst fans old & new
Sydney, October 16 2015 – Vibes on Summer’s Day is returning to Bondi Pavilion on January 24 2015, with early bird tickets having gone on sale on October 15. The demand for the first wave of tickets released was overwhelming and Vibes promoters were left bowled over by the response, with all tickets being snapped up in just 14 minutes and 38 seconds.
Running for ten years between 1994 and 2003, the phenomenal response comes ahead of the first line-up announce on October 30.
Further tickets have now been made available at www. www.vibesonasummersday.com, whilst another wave will be released in line with the October 30 announcement. A final batch will be made available when the last acts are revealed.
Vibes on a Summer’s Day became a firm fixture on the national music calendar in the late 90s and early 2000s, catering to cutting edge fans of the soul and funk fringes of house and breakbeat.
Vibes organisers are keen to tap into the positive sentiment still felt by past attendees, whilst engaging a younger crowd with the event’s commitment to offering first class eclectic live acts and DJs, broadly influenced by the dance and electronic music genres.
The event famously headlined Groove Armada, Jamiroquai Norman Jay, Gilles Peterson, Propellerheads, Rae & Christian and St. Germain and event organisers guarantee that fans of great music will not be disappointed this time around.
With the all dayer peaking in 2002 with some 10,000 sun-soaked revellers in Sydney alone, the 2016 event represents a return to Vibes’ intimate and authentic roots – only 1,200 tickets will be made available.
