Jimmy Afiouny was born in Tripoli where his father had established their nut roasting business in 1925. When Jimmy arrived in Sydney in the mid 1970’s he decided to open his very own nut roasting business in Roselands where they have been for 40 years supplying nuts to the local community and distributing nuts nationally.  To celebrate,Nut Roasters will be selling their most popular products at the same price they sold nuts for 90 years ago. This will include their Brookvale Blend, Curl Curl Combo, Mixed Melody, High Protein Mix, Clean Carb Mix, Kri Kri Nuts, Mixed Nuts, Vienna Nuts, Nut Bars, and Sesame Bars all at 10 cents a bag!

Nut Roasters have established themselves as a market leader in the nut industry, and boast exclusive rights to their ever-popular Kri Kri nuts, a recipe passed down through generations. Jinan, Mohamed, Sophie and Tarek are the sons and daughters of Jimmy, who collectively run the business today:

“We are so excited to be opening a new outlet. Nut Roasters is extremely popular in our Roselands community, and now the North Shore and Northern Beaches will be able to experience the Nut Roasters tradition of quality. On the grand opening day we will be selling our nuts and nut mixes all day at the prices they sold for 90 years ago in Tripoli!” Says Jimmy’s daughter Jinan Afiouny.
