ARIA Award winners, 5 Seconds Of Summer will join the ARIA Awards live from LA!

ARIA is thrilled to announce that ARIA Award winners, 5 Seconds Of Summer will join the ARIA Awards broadcast on TEN from 7.30pm live from LA. After winning their first ARIA Award last year in the Song Of The Year category for their #1 single, ‘She Looks So Perfect’, the band who are currently in LA promoting their #1 album and performing at the American Music Awards on November 22, didn't want to miss out on this year's ARIA Awards, so they will be crossing live from their mate's home in LA throughout the show.

5 Seconds Of Summer’s latest album, ‘Sounds Good Feels Good’ recently debuted at #1 on the album charts in Australia, US, UK and 6 other charts around the world. On November 20 they release their first ever DVD, ‘How Did We End Up Here : Live At Wembley Arena’. 5 Seconds Of Summer are one of the biggest breakthrough stories of the last two years; six multi-million selling singles, a self-titled debut album that not only topped the US Album Chart (going to #1 globally on iTunes in 76 countries) but also became the third biggest pre-order in iTunes history and the biggest US debut by an Australian artist ever - now to add to that, a second album that has topped the charts around the world.

5 Seconds Of Summer are nominated for two ARIA Awards in the Best Group and Best Australian Live Act categories. In an Australian Awards show first, Twitter Australia will be giving fans the opportunity to vote exclusively in the Best Australian Live Act category.
