Announcement posted by Bench PR 26 Nov 2015
Aussie start up Ento, provider of workforce management software, today launches its Add-on Marketplace enabling easy integration with other cloud-based systems and also gives customers access to their point-of-sale (POS) data so they can resource their teams more effectively.
The Add-on Marketplace will help connect the 1,500 Australian retail and hospitality workplaces that run Ento for their rostering and payroll to their other cloud based systems such as Vend, Erply, ImPOS for point-of-sale, Xero, Intuit and Reckon for payroll, Rezgo for bookings as well as a number of enterprise accounting packages.
Ento will also from today be able to provide customers with the ability to capture valuable transactional data from their POS system and use this knowledge to help roster more accurately. “For retailers and hospitality managers the ability to analyse POS data to gain insight into exactly when staff are required means that companies can better plan for seasonality, fluctuations in customer demands throughout the day and leverage the insights of big data in a practical way in their operations. This is the future of workforce management,” explains Mr Aulay Macaulay, Managing Director and founder of Ento.
AirTree Ventures invested $1.2 million in Ento in July this year. Only four months on, Ento has announced a range of new features and has recently made a number of senior hires from Catch Group, PageUp and some top digital agencies.
“Ento has doubled the size of its team and customer base since July. We are committed to building our team in Melbourne and in the New Year we will be looking for larger offices to accommodate our expansion,” he enthuses.
Another feature Ento has announced today is ‘qualifications & licences’ which enables Ento to upload staff registrations and track expiry dates such as the responsible service of alcohol certificate for bartenders, working with children’s checks, gun licenses for security guards and working Visa dates. “This enables companies to easily keep track of their staff permits and to have clear visibility when they are due for renewal ensuring no breaches in compliance,” Macaulay says.
