Rinnai Re-Release Their Rinnai Magic App Fireplace Range

“See a fireplace in your place with the updated Rinnai Magic app” is how Rinnai are promoting their Magic app. to allow consumers to virtually imagine their new fireplace.  The Rinnai Magic app has just been re-released with a fully updated fireplace range, including the brand-new Evolve 1250– Rinnai’s most beautiful, efficient, and powerful fire ever.  Available for both iOS and Android, the app allows Rinnai customers to overlay the image of a selected fireplace in their own living rooms using the camera function on their devices.

Rinnai’s National Marketing Manager Kathryn Geck says the refreshed app utilises the most up-to-date mobile technology to allow consumers to try out new fireplaces virtually, without a financial commitment. “Our research into the customer decision making process identified the uncertainty consumers feel when making big purchases that will become permanent fixtures in their homes.

“It’s always been our dream to show homeowners what a fireplace could potentially look like in their own living rooms before they commit to a purchase. Getting a new fireplace can transform the look and feel of a home, and it is important to get it right,” says Geck.

Users of the app can swap out the fascia (or outer face) of the fireplace as well as the burn media. They can then superimpose the image onto their own living room wall using the “Magic Button”, or choose one of several different walls to act as a backdrop. “Our customers can then choose to share the augmented image they have created through Twitter, Facebook or email and invite the opinion of friends and family,” Geck says.
