Bruce Easton Appointed to the Energy Efficiency Council Board

Announcement posted by Ecovantage 14 Dec 2015

Congratulations to Ecovantage CEO, Bruce Easton, who has recently been appointed to the Board of the Energy Efficiency Council (EEC).
The EEC is Australia’s peak body for energy efficiency, co-generation and demand management. The Council is a not-for-profit membership association which works on behalf of members to promote stable government policy, provide clear information to energy users and drive the quality of energy efficiency products and services.

Bruce will contribute his extensive knowledge of energy efficiency schemes to the EEC and would like to see further collaboration between the council and the Energy Efficiency Certificate Creators Association (EECCA) where he is President.

EECCA was established to represent and self-regulate the activities of businesses creating and trading energy efficiency certificates. These activities underpin the Victorian, NSW, SA and ACT Energy Efficiency Schemes which facilitate the installation of energy efficient products and services to households and businesses.

Bruce’s background in residential energy programs will help broaden the EEC knowledge base and areas of interest.
