Teknowledge Software Unveils New Plans For 2016

Announcement posted by Teknowledge software 07 Jan 2016

Teks Mobile - a top-ranked multinational app development company - released its work plans for 2016, at a press conference this week. The company will be completing 10 years in 2016.

In a press meet yesterday, Teknowledge Software - one of the top mobile app companies in India - announced its annual goals and targets for 2016. Hussain Fakhruddin, the CEO of the company, was present at the meet, along with several other senior-level employees of Teks.

The proceedings started off with a brief report of how Teknowledge had performed in the year gone by. Mr. Fakhruddin named each of the 70-odd app development projects the company had started work on in 2015 (including the ones that weren’t successful). On final calculation, nearly 88% of the app projects that Teks Mobile handled in 2015 were successes - and Mr.Fakhruddin was well within his rights in referring to the year as a ‘good one for my company’.

Moving over to the plans for 2016, Mr. Fakhruddin and his team shared a list of activities that they wanted to pursue this year. For starters, the in-house iPhone app development team will start off with more Swift projects. Regular training sessions on Swift programming would also be organized. The coders also stated that they planned to do more work in NODE.JS in the next couple of quarters. Making new apps for Apple Watch is also high on the agenda for 2016.

Some of the good work that the mobile app agency had started in 2015 will be persisted with next year. Mr. Fakhruddin mentioned the ‘Go Green, Help Clean’ campaign (a sapling-planting drive kickstarted in last June by the Teks team) in this regard. Among the day-to-day activities, this year would witness more organized and effective scrum sessions (daily), greater commitment to meeting deadlines, and a combined effort to raise and maintain the quality standards of the mobile applications the company will make. The confident company CEO pointed out that Teknowledge Software was now a global brand - and with a 200+ count of foreign clientele, there was really no room for slackness or mistakes.

Gradual expansion of business and a stronger international presence are on the 2016 roster of the cross-platform app development company. In India, the second office of Teknowledge will be inaugurated in Pune later this month. Later in the year, Mr. Fakhruddin also has plans to launch another international branch of the company (most likely in a Nordic country). It will be the third overseas chapter of Teknowledge - after Teks Mobile Australia (2014) and Teks Sweden (2015).

The new year will be one of wide opportunities for all the employees of Teks Mobile, asserted Mr. Fakhruddin. The announcement that really got his team of iOS and Android app developers going was the one when he said more people will be sent overseas in 2016, to work in collaboration with foreign clients (incidentally, a senior iPhone developer from Teknowledge is currently working in Denmark). There will also be weekly app development training seminars and workshops, as well as hackathons and other coding challenges. The CEO hopes that activities like these would help build the knowledge pool of his team. Hard to argue with that!

Before signing off, Mr. Fakhruddin reiterated that Teknowledge Software has never been, and will never be, just another ‘boring, work-only’ company. An array of fun activities - right from monthly/annual awards to employees, to offsite camps and tours - will be organized in 2016. Expressing regret over the somewhat dormant stature of the 4 ‘Houses’ at Teknowledge (Speedy Spawns, Spark Plugs, Deadly Daemons and Dynamic Dudes) last year, he also promised to revive them in 2016. There will be inter-house competitions and challenges of various types.

In 2015, many of the apps created by Teknowledge received prestigious awards and honourable mentions in leading online magazines and journals. This year, the app development company plans to build on its already considerable success, increase the number of employees, get into 3D game development in a big way, and bolster its presence in the global markets. The company is also hoping for at least a 30% increase in its total app-count, which currently stands at a shade under 1000.
