2nd annual Taste Eden Riesling Festival

Presented by Taste Eden Valley, this event promises to be an opportunity for Riesling lovers to immerse themselves in one of the largest portfolios of single vineyard Riesling from Eden Valley.
Eden Valley has long been recognized as a globally acclaimed Riesling growing region. With its cooler climate and ancient soils, wines from this region are usually greater in acidity and colour due to the slower ripening temperatures and develop more gently.
Taste Eden Valley owner, Melissa Raymond noted “For many, Riesling is akin to a spiritual experience mainly as this white grape varietal is one that truly reflects the place it is grown. As Riesling lovers ourselves, we kicked off the Taste Eden Riesling Festival in 2015 and plan to steadily grow it into an annual regional event for Eden Valley Riesling lovers.”

Wines of independent, artisan, wine producers will be available for sampling. This is a rare opportunity to taste over 20 Rieslings, many current single vineyard, and meet producers while relaxing in the Taste Eden Valley gardens. What a enjoyable way to spend a Saturday Summer afternoon.
The 2nd Annual Taste Eden Riesling Festival is on Saturday 23 January 2016 from 11am to 4pm at 6 Washington Street, Angaston SA 5352 and is proudly part of the Summer of Riesling celebrations.
