IT security experts launch start-up at AusCERT conference

CLEARTEXT Pty Ltd, a leading provider of secure email and instant messaging solutions, today announced the official launch of the company at Australias premier IT security conference; AusCERT being held from 22nd -26th May 2005 at the Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia.
CLEARTEXT was founded by David Banes, the former Technical Director at MessageLabs (Asia Pacific) Ltd, the world's leading provider of email security and management services and Leigh Costin the former Technical Marketing Manger for Fortinet (Asia Pacific), the worlds leading privately-held network security systems supplier. With senior level experience spanning across Europe, the USA and throughout the Asia Pacific, both founders are considered veterans of the IT security industry, having held similar roles with Symantec Asia Pacific for a number of years.

The focus is on providing secure messaging solutions for email and instant messaging to Australian small to medium businesses.
