ADX16 Sydney Brings The Dental Profession Together

Announcement posted by Australian Dental Industry Association 02 Mar 2016

With more than a dozen organisations from the dental community participating in ADX16 Sydney, an event on-track to attract a record crowd, the nation’s largest healthcare trade show has cemented its reputation as Australia’s premier dental event.

Convened biennially by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the peak business organisation representing dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals, ADX16 Sydney is set to bring together more than eight thousand individuals from across the dental community.

“As the organisers of ADX16 Sydney, one of our priorities is to allow the various stakeholders from across the dental community use the event as a platform to engage with their constituents,” said Troy Williams, ADIA Chief Executive Officer.

The stakeholders participating in ADX16 Sydney have a diverse background and not only represent dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals, but also research organisations and charitable organisations that provide dental care to those most in need. The stakeholders participating in ADX16 Sydney include:

§  Australasian Academy for Dental Sleep Medicine

§  Australian Association of Practice Management

§  Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists' Association

§  Australian Dental Association (NSW Branch)

§  Australian Dental Prosthetists Association

§  Australian Dental Students Association

§  Dental Assistants Professional Association

§  Dental Hygienists Association of Australia

§  Filling the Gap

§  National Dental Foundation

§  Oral Health Professionals Association

§  Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons

“It’s great that these organisations are all getting behind ADX16 Sydney, an event that continues to grow as a result of its reputation as the must-attend event for anybody with an involvement in Australian dentistry,” Mr Williams said.

What’s unique about ADX16 Sydney is that it combines a world-class exhibition with a companion continuing professional development program that’s offered by the different stakeholders and the leading suppliers of products and services to dental professionals.

“No matter where you are in Australia, we encourage you to come along to the dental industry’s largest gathering to meet with the organisation representing your profession then catch-up with colleagues from across the sector,” Mr Williams said.
