Liferay Appoints New General Manager to Ramp-up Australia and New Zealand Operations

Adrian Johnson to head Liferay Australia Pty Ltd and build upon the success achieved to date.
SYDNEY, Australia – (5 April, 2016) – Liferay Australia Pty Ltd, which helps companies to create digital experiences on web, mobile and connected devices, today announced the appointment of Adrian Johnson to the position of General Manager Liferay Australia to oversee the Australian and New Zealand markets.

"Adrian has a strong track record of delivering innovative and effective leadership in Australia, Asia and the United States. We are very pleased to have Adrian join the Liferay team to not only scale the business but foster a strong Liferay culture locally,” said Brian Endo, VP Asia Pacific.

Adrian Johnson joins Liferay from Code42 where he was Managing Director. Prior to Code42 he held leadership positions at Dell, Fuji Xerox and Sun Microsystems. He started his career as an Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. Johnson will be focused on expanding the business within Australia and New Zealand by leveraging Liferay’s partnerships and the user community, plus, developing the local team.
