Escape Haven Team Up With Rip Curl For A Unique And Luxurious Surf Retreat Package

The ladies are picked up daily from Escape Haven in the customised Escape Haven surf van by Ana and the driver and, on arrival at the chosen surf spot they are issued with rash guards, helmets, booties, sunscreen and two changing room areas for them to change in while the other four crew who had arrived earlier in a separate vehicle pull out the awning and set up the classroom where Ana will run through the day’s surf programme and additional information about the location, boats and crew. Once the classroom work is done, the girls warm up with stretches and yoga moves, and are then allocated their surfboards, instructors and head for the water or boat.

On return to the beach dry towels and coconut drinking water awaits and pillows are arranged for the girls to relax on as Ana debriefs them on the day’s surfing. The photos from the surf session are placed on the surf van monitor during the ride back to the retreat and Ana uses the images to review each lady’s performance, noting the highlights and skills to be worked on. Each day the photos will be sorted in to individual folders back at the school and on the final day each image is loaded on to their Escape Haven Rip Curl surfboard flash drive.

Ladies will also have the luxury of being on retreat when they arrive back ‘home’, where they can enjoy a luxurious spa and a yoga session, and partake of the delicious and nutritious meals prepared by the Escape Haven chefs.
