Roller Hockey is an all year round fast, exciting, non-contact game played out of the sun. This year we are actively promoting our female participation with a female division having played in the Australia Day Cup hosted in Melbourne in January as well as a female division also included in the Skate of Origin, Glen Innes later this month. Roller Hockey is enjoyed by all ages and we encourage anyone to try out for free!

Christina De Dominicis, Secretary of the Stafford Roller Sports Club is excited about the future of Roller Hockey in Australia and would love to see Roller Hockey as a demonstration sport in the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Roller Hockey was a demonstration sport in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and it is great to see it as a contender for the 2020 Olympic games. Christina said “this is an exciting time to be part of Roller Hockey, we feel we have embarked on a wonderful journey that has endless possibilities. I am proud to be a part of this for my family and for the community”.

Roller Hockey – A sport for all!
