Announcement posted by John Morris Group 27 Apr 2016
Gilson has just announced that the Pipetman Comfort Handle, a new pipette partner product designed for use with Pipetman Classic, Neo, or G pipette offers superior ergonomics and adds individual character, accepted a 2016 iF design Award in the Medicine/Health Care product category for its distinctive design. Judging criteria included the degree of innovation, ergonomics, functionality, durability, plus quality.
The highly respected, international jury assessed in excess of 5,000 entries from 53 countries to decide who would receive this coveted seal of excellence.
With an additional large finger hook and soft texture, this ergonomic handle allows for a better fit in the hand. The Pipetman Comfort Handle creates a natural feeling balance for the pipette to support your daily pipetting activity and aids in reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries (rsi). A dedicated identification zone has also been integrated into the finger hook of the accessory to enable quick and easy identification of the pipettes in the lab when a customised label is attached.
