Panasonic to unveil its extensive 2016 air conditioning line up, including large capacity ducted systems, cloud control systems and the most efficient VRF System on the market
Sydney, 18 May 2016 – Panasonic this month will showcase new industry-leading products and innovations for the residential and commercial air conditioning market at the biannual Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services industry event (ARBS) taking place in Melbourne.

Cementing Panasonic’s position as a global leader in air conditioning and ventilation, the new range includes comprehensive offerings in heating and cooling solutions for the Australian market, and demonstrates best-in-class technology to suit a range of residential and commercial applications.

Panasonic National Commercial Sales Manager – Air Conditioning, Shane Quinn said: “This year’s ARBS looks to be a fantastic event, and Panasonic will be showcasing a stellar line up. With outstanding energy efficiency, compact solutions and dynamic cloud control systems, the 2016 offering demonstrates Panasonic’s commitment to innovation in the air conditioning market.”

The star of Panasonic’s 2016 line up is the brand new range of Large Capacity Ducted Split units, suitable for both residential and commercial applications. With four new models available – 16kw, 18kw, 20kw, 22.4kw, they all feature an ultra-compact side discharge outdoor unit that will fit down the side of a house without blocking the pathway. Panasonic is the only company to offer a 22.4kw single split ducted side discharge unit in Australia.

Panasonic will also be showcasing its new Cloud Control System, which enables the control and monitoring of up to 128 indoor units from anywhere in the world. Controlled via an easy-to-use interface on a PC, phone or tablet, the Cloud Control System offers a versatile solution to any business that has multiple sites, or needs offsite monitoring or control of their systems via one simple interface. For example, this could include aged care facilities, hotels or retail outlets.

Panasonic’s ongoing commitment to energy efficiency will also be demonstrated with a new 2 Pipe Heat Pump VRF system. By far the most energy efficient VRF system on the market, this all inverter driven product has been re-designed from the ground up to deliver outstanding energy efficiency and performance.

Other new products being revealed include new Side Discharge VRF outdoor units, expanded ranges of Multi-Splits and Wall-Splits, Ventilation Fans, Control Solutions and Design Software.

ARBS is Australia’s only International Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services trade exhibition connecting over 250 local, national and international manufacturers and suppliers with thousands of industry decision makers, specifiers, engineers, contractors and trade technicians.
