Ajilon Appointed to Department of Education Panels

Perth, 15 June 2016: Ajilon has been appointed to two of Western Australia’s Department of Education panels, one for the provision of web development and support services, and the second for application development and support services.
The two year contract, with three one year extension options, commences 1 July 2016. The Panel will provide the Department with the capacity to efficiently support a range of business and e-learning systems as well as the Department’s Internet and Intranet sites.
Over 50 systems will be supported under the Panel arrangement including Reporting to Parents, Connect, WA Interm and Vacation Swimming Enrolment Management, Student Achievement Information, Student Attendance Reporting and School Security Management.
The Department’s internet site is one of the largest Western Australian Government web sites with more than of 100 sub-sites and 6000 pages, providing information and e-business services to the education community.

Stephen Rakich, Director E-Learning and Business Systems at the Department of Education said Ajilon was chosen as a member of their Panel due to Ajilon’s sound organisational capacity and extensive experience in delivering ICT services across a broad range of clients, both government and non-government. Ajilon also demonstrated the availability of a large number of local resources with skillsets well aligned to the Departments’ requirements.
This appointment extends the award-winning work Ajilon performs for West Australian government bodies and agencies including Landgate, WA Police, Department of the Attorney General and Department of Corrective Services.
