With networking, wireless and connectivity equipment
America’s Cup hopeful Emirates Team NZ has partnered with D-Link for all of its networking, wireless and connectivity equipment requirements in its push to win the 35th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup in 2017.

D-Link ANZ has had a long association with Emirates Team NZ, one that’s included building on and strengthening their existing network equipment including switches, Wi-Fi equipment and surveillance cameras amongst many other areas.

D-Link ANZ MD Graeme Reardon explained, “This is more than a simple sponsorship, it’s been an ongoing partnership that provides Emirates Team NZ a real technological advantage over its rivals. Over our years of working with the team, we have supplied a range of high-performance Wi-Fi, Switching and IP surveillance solutions to protect and secure their home base, as well as to allow wireless connectivity back into their other infrastructure – and as this latest America’s Cup challenge comes forth, D-Link has again stepped up to help.”

Reardon added, “The America’s Cup is one of sport’s most difficult and challenging races to win. That’s why you have to be as prepared as humanly possible and have every single advantage available to you. We’ve worked in close partnership with Emirates Team NZ to provide them with the very best in wireless and surveillance options. As we get closer to race time these options will be expanded upon further and will also include solutions that will link, connect and protect the Emirates Team NZ base in Bermuda with all of the team’s other stakeholders involved in making sure that they have the best chance of winning the 35th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup in 2017.”
