Melbourne (Australia) - July 20, 2016 – ECAL (ecal.com), the world’s first calendar-based marketing technology for consumer interaction, engagement and sales, has been selected by Premier League, the most-watched soccer league in the world, to engage its global fan base and facilitate “tune-in.”

Promoted as the “
Premier League Digital Calendar,” the feature allows fans to select their favorite team schedules and receive ‘rich’ and up-to-date game entries in their personal digital calendar – on mobile or desktop.

With a call to fans to “Experience it Live,” game entries are customized to feature regional TV broadcast details specific to your location, the official match hashtag, and direct access to the live Match Centre and Tickets.

Rich with latest technology advancements, this ECAL implementation features AA Accessibility compliance, under/over age 13 compliance, and smart data syncing to enrich CRM. Additionally, there are displays in 14 languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, which allow Premier League to better serve its growing global fan base.

Integrated onto the new Premier League website and promoted via social channels and news releases, the Premier League Digital Calendar will also be integrated into the League’s official mobile apps.

Premier League joins ECAL’s roster of 300-plus global sports and entertainment customers, including Live Nation Ticketmaster, Major League Soccer (MLS), NFL teams (New England Patriots, Washington Redskins), NBA teams (Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers), Olympic Sports, College Sports (US), The FA, Tottenham Hotspur (UK), AFL teams, NRL teams, Cricket Australia, Football Australia and National Basketball League (AUS).

“ECAL’s calendar marketing partnership with Premier League will give football fans worldwide the ability to connect and interact with games at precisely the right time straight from their calendar, so they never miss a moment, ” said Patrick Barrett, Founder & CEO of ECAL. “Fans will benefit from seamless access to the live Match Centre, to follow socially via Twitter and even to get to the game with a direct link to tickets.
