Announcement posted by Multicap 02 Aug 2016

The Multicap Northside Festival will be held at 487 Ellison Road, Aspley on Saturday 27 August.
Multicap, a leading disability service provider, encourages everyone to support the event by attending the day and joining in the family fun.

Festival goers will be amazed by the variety of stalls this year, with food stalls, face painting and a petting zoo there is truly something for everyone.

The fun kicks off at 10am with an assortment of family-friendly activities on offer including live music and dance and a jumping castle.

This year promises to be bigger than ever with a large variety of local performers volunteering their talents on stage. Multicap music therapy students will perform along with Samoan dancers, students from Undurba State School and an upcoming Brisbane band!

Multicap CEO, Joanne Jessop says, “The Northside Festival is a community celebration that allows members of the public to take a glimpse into the variety of services Multicap provides while offering an opportunity for family fun!”

“We hope to raise awareness about people with disability within the local community in a entertaining and inviting way. Representatives from Multicap will be present at the event to answer any questions members of the community have about our services,” said Ms Jessop.

With free entry, rides for a gold coin donation, a great variety of activities, delicious food and a stellar line-up of entertainment, this year’s festival is shaping up to be the perfect day out for any family.
