Video editing kit includes adapter for fast connections from digital camcorders to PCs
Maxtor Australia has today announced Maxtor DV Producer, a video editing kit that lets aspiring videographers turn home movies into digital videos.
With Maxtor DV Producer, a digital camcorder and a PC, home video novices can make videos in just three easy steps:
1. connect the digital camcorder to the PC with card and camcorder cable
2. use the provided ShowBiz software to import and edit home videos
3. export to videotape, video CD, email or other video formats.
According to IDC, digital camcorder sales has increased from US$6 billion in 2000 to US$7.1 billion in 2001 and is expected to grow to US$7.9 billion in 2002. In light of this trend, Maxtor designed DV Producer to be the fast and easy way for digital camcorder owners to edit their videos.
