Tickets selling fast for Harvest Feast on Monday

Announcement posted by Second Helping 01 Sep 2016

Pachamama Laneway Festival has gotten bigger and better for 2017

Tickets are selling fast for Monday's Harvest Feast at Noisy Ritual in East Brunswick

The two chicks who make wine they love to drink and share with friends will take over Brunswick’s Noisy Ritual for the 2016 Harvest Feast on September 5th. The Harvest Feast starts where the Pachamama Laneway Festival left off – a celebration of vintage launches made by the Wine Unplugged duo of Callie Jemmeson and Nina Stocker.

Harvest Feast is a celebration of everything the girls believe in when it comes to their wines. A table heaving with antipasto in a rustic setting will tempt guests while they taste all of the vintage releases being presented under the Wine Unplugged banner. “I love creating something that brings a twinkle to the other people’s lives,” said Stocker. “This Harvest Feast celebrates all that we are about and allows us to bring our best to others, while showcasing the wines that we are so proud and privileged to produce.”

Callie Jemmeson and Nina Stocker are the self-described ‘chicks’ making wines under Pachamama, White Stripes, and La Vie en Rose labels, collectively known as Wine Unpluged, and are looking forward to introducing ‘The Dagger’ their newest Pinot Grigio to Melbourne wine lovers.

Nina and Callie believe that winemaking doesn't have to have barriers but what it does need is quality, focus and a destination.

“We love making wine that we want to drink or to share with our mates. The Dagger is part of a new range we are launching this year, and it plays to my love of Italian varietals,” said Callie Jemmeson. The pair have been great friends and partners in wine since meeting in 2009. Their freedom of expression and unbridled thinking is evident in every sniff and sip you take of their wines. Each one speaks of elegance, individuality, pure fruit flavour and sheer joy.

Noisy Ritual is a haven for people interested in wine, winemaking, food and music. The room is lined with wine barrels, the exposed beams and white painted walls creating a blank canvas for the Wine Unplugged team to create a magical environment for everyone to meet, eat, sip and sup.

Stocker and Jemmeson have learnt their trade in places as diverse as Portugal, Italy, France, America and New Zealand. Their passion and belief in limitless possibility is the embodiment of the earth mother herself and this will be celebrated at the Harvest Festival.

The Wine Unplugged Harvest Feast is being held at the Noisy Ritual Urban Winemaking space at 249 Lygon Street, East Brunswick is from 5pm and tickets are available to the public for $55, which including food and drinks.
