Virgin Australia partners with Parrtjima – A Festival in Light

The Northern Territory Government and Northern Territory Major Events Company is proud to announce Virgin Australia has become a supporting partner of Parrtjima – A Festival in Light.

The first authentic Indigenous light festival of its kind in the world and Australia’s biggest-ever light show installation, Parrtjima – A Festival in Light will light up Alice Springs and 2.5km of Central Australia’s majestic MacDonnell Ranges for 10 nights from 23 September to 2 October 2016.

The festival will be a breathtaking showcase of the very best contemporary and traditional Indigenous art, culture and stories, created in partnership with local Aboriginal artists, students and the community using light and sound.

Virgin Australia will play a key role in supporting and promoting the inaugural Parrtjima to the people of the Territory, as well as visitors from around Australia.
