Professor Garfield partners with Makers Empire
Makers Empire, has teamed up with cartoon icon, Professor Garfield, to launch a worldwide 3D design and print STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Mathematics) competition for school students.
“Makers Empire makes STEM learning exciting and interesting for kids and this partnership with Professor Garfield is a fantastic opportunity to influence learning for the next generation,” said Jon Soong, CEO of Makers Empire.
Bob Levy, Director of Educational and Online Initiatives at Professor Garfield added "At Professor Garfield we have many years’ experience producing resources for teachers and activities for students. We love programs like this, it fits our philosophy like a glove."
The free competition is open today to individuals and schools, and winners will receive a Garfield t-shirt and an original, signed artwork by Jim Davis, creator of the iconic Garfield comic series.
