ARNOLD URGES DONT BE A COUCH POTATO IN FIGHT TO TERMINATE OBESITY IN CHILDREN

HE SAID "I'LL BE BACK!" AND HE IS!

Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to Australia for the 4th time since 2013 for the Arnold Classic, the worlds biggest multi-sports festival on the 17th, 18th and 19th of March, 2017 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Wharf, VIC 3006, Australia.

Arnold Schwarzenegger says “ Don’t be a couch potato! Get busy, start moving, it will change your life. I want to encourage kids to participate in activities that might lead to them taking up sport and terminate obesity in children. My fitness crusade is to encourage people of all ages to get off the couch and start exercising. It is so important for our youth to experience the benefits of regular exercise and playing sport. “

Arnold’s partner  and event organiser Tony Doherty says “The 2017 Arnold Classic will be twice the size of previous years thanks to the addition of the Arnold  Kids Expo! Arnold Schwarzenegger is on a worldwide fitness crusade  and is extremely passionate about fighting the obesity epidemic, starting with children. He will participate in a range of sports with the kids to encourage them to get off the couch and get active.”

“Arnold and I are  dedicating  over $500,000 worth of space to the Arnold Kids Expo, 15,000 square metres, which is half of the entire MCEC, for sporting organisations to use at no charge as long as they include a “Come and Try” area for kids.  In addition all kids will be allowed to come in free to the entire Arnold Classic, all weekend.”

“Tennis Australia, fencing, futsal and martial arts are sports already confirmed for the Arnold Kids Expo and any sport that wants to participate for free is encouraged to call me direct “ says Tony Doherty.
