People want a better life for their children
Trump nominee for Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos, is being petitioned by B2B media and services entrepreneur Kenelm Tonkin to push for entrepreneurship and financial literacy to be taught in American classrooms.

Within hours, more than 100 signatures were gathered including those of parents and politicians keen to see the skills of economic empowerment practiced by their children.

"It's a very worrying trend that new businesses under 12 months old have withered to only 3.2 million in 2015 from 4.0 million in 1993. If we haven't lost an entire generation of job-creating business owners, entrepreneurship has at the very least become a less viable career choice for many young Americans", said Kenelm Tonkin. "Financial literacy taught early would reverse this trend."
