Swapping Cologne and Perfume for Room Sprays

It might sound somewhat bizarre, but people all over the world are swapping expensive colognes and perfumes for room sprays before heading out on the town or visiting friends.

It might sound somewhat bizarre, but people all over the world are swapping expensive colognes and perfumes for room sprays before heading out on the town or visiting friends.

The trend is being driven by budget-conscious people who are questioning the cost of perfumes and colognes or simply can’t afford them. Spray for spray, even an expensive room spray is going to be a cheaper alternative to most perfumes and colognes.

But what about the smell?

It may surprise you to know the work that goes into producing a quality room spray, as 5 Elements Mike Fermanis explains.

“We work with a world-leading perfume manufacturer to produce our room sprays,” Mike says. “The manufacturer has over 30 years of fragrance experience and is a member of global fragrance associations, IFEAT and IFRA. We only use fragrances that are safe, allergy-free and pure, and fragrances that comply with strict international legislation. They are also produced using sound environmental practices.”

Is it safe?

Before you pick up your favourite room spray and spray it on your neck or wrist, a word of warning. This is not something you would do with just any room spray.

Some room sprays just shouldn’t be sprayed directly on your skin so, for starters, make sure the room spray is safe, pure and allergy-free. Like the room sprays manufactured by 5 Elements. And then do a test spray on an inconspicuous part of your body to make sure there is no adverse reaction before dabbing it on your neck or face.

If you’re still unsure or prefer to play it safe, use your room spray on your clothing, on a scarf or even on your hair.

The other thing you need to consider is the quality of the room spray. A cheap room spray probably won’t get much further than the front door, while quality room sprays, containing essential oils and perfumes – will be long-lasting. A quality room spray is also more likely to be revitalising and smell great.

So next time you’re catching up with friends, going to an important office event or have a romantic date, get out your quality room spray and give yourself an all-over spritz. You’ll smell terrific all day and night!
