Vault Intelligence opens Australian office

Announcement posted by Bench PR 31 Jan 2017

New Melbourne home to support continued growth and expanding team

Vault Intelligence, a leading provider of cloud based Risk and Safety Management software, officially opening its new Australian headquarters in Melbourne today, joined by Philip Dalidakis MP, Victorian Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade, along with Vault founder and CEO, Dave Moylan, and General Manager for Commercial Operations in Australia, Tim Dowling.

The past 12 months have seen Vault’s ANZ operations grow rapidly, requiring more space and a fresh, collaborative office to help support its expanding Australian client base.

Vault is currently used by over 600,000 people in 640 organisations in Australia and New Zealand including Coca-Cola Amatil, Visy and Kraft Foods. Founded out of Christchurch by David Moylan, former Head of Safety for the Australian Army and leading global safety consultant, Vault was built in response to a demand from companies wanting to streamline how they reported incidents in the workplace, a solution that integrated with their other systems and helped them with their compliance reporting.

In the past six months, since listing on the ASX, Vault has quadrupled its Melbourne team numbers across sales and engineering, undergone a rebrand, and launched two new products to its existing suite of mobile applications and enterprise platform – Inspect and Audit.

Vault’s new local headquarters, located at 145-147 Bouverie St, Carlton, will accommodate the company’s plans to hire around 20 more staff in the first half of this year and bring its solutions to an even wider customer base.

“Vault is at a very exciting turning point. EHS is an industry that’s emerging from the dark ages and our technology is the market leader because it offers an all-in-one solution to risk and compliance. Businesses of all sizes can use Vault’s tools to meet their health, safety and risk management needs so the demand for our services are high,” CEO and founder Dave Moylan said.

“Australia is an incredibly important market for Vault and we hope our continued investment on the ground will help our customers and partners achieve continued success.”

“Vault Intelligence joins a long list of global tech companies choosing Victoria for their Australian headquarters. We are delighted to add Vault's HQ to our growing tech talent pool helping grow more jobs and industries that will support Victoria's economy into the future,” said Minister Philip Dalidakis, Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade.

Vault’s Carlton headquarters offers a light and bright open plan space that will encourage collaboration between employees and departments and bring a comfortable but inspiring working environment. Downstairs is the technology development hub, which will soon include a funky hangout space and pool table, while upstairs will have a graffiti wall and is dedicated to sales, marketing, training and support teams.
