SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – 13th February 2017– Sharp Corporation of Australia would like to introduce its latest range in home cooking with the R330EW and R330ES high-powered microwave ovens. Exclusive to ‘The Good Guys’ stores, the new design explores convenience in the kitchen, as it is designed specifically with Australian families in mind. This mid-sized microwave, available in White or Silver fascia is suitable for everyday cooking, defrosting and reheating with 3 memory key settings for frequently used programs.

The new range is rated at 1100W and comes with 11 Microwave Power levels ranging from 0% to 100%. This added level of flexibility allows finer control to accurately defrost, cook or reheat a wide range of foods with ease.
Sharp Australia is firmly committed to meeting Australia’s cooking preferences. All menus, auto/manual cooking charts and recipes for Sharp microwave ovens are developed and tested with locally sourced produce and the Australian consumer in mind.
The R330EW and R330ES have 9 popular auto menus that have been tested and developed to provide efficient and convenient cooking and reheating. These menus have been automatically programmed with a time and microwave power level to ensure food is cooked or reheated to perfection. Auto menus include Fresh Vegetables, Rice and Pasta, Melt/Soften (Butter, Chocolate, Cream Cheese), Reheat Beverage, Dinner Plate and Casserole.
The Weight Defrost feature is very useful when it comes to defrosting 4 popular varieties of meat. The appropriate defrosting time required to defrost meat weighing from 500g to 2000g can easily be selected using this auto program, removing any guess work and ensuring your meat is carefully defrosted.
The R330EW and R330ES also allows for a two-stage cooking sequence making it possible to combine multiple microwave power levels and cooking times for dishes that require various stages of cooking or reheating. The units also feature a memory function with the option to store three frequently used microwave power levels and cook times. Additionally, for added convenience, the microwaves have a quick start function for a quick 30 second burst of 100% power cooking or can be used to add 30 seconds to cooking already in progress. Finally, the simple kitchen timer function can be used in everyday cooking, turning the microwave display into a handy countdown timer.
