Acquisition will provide significant increase in local European service staff and offering; shared commitment to product innovation and customer service
DoubleClick Inc., a leading global provider of digital advertising technology and services for marketers, ad agencies and web publishers, today announced that it has agreed to acquire Falk eSolutions AG, a global provider of online advertising delivery and marketing management solutions, based in Germany. Clients of DoubleClick and Falk eSolutions will benefit from the combined management experience of both companies, the widespread local market presence in Europe, and DoubleClicks commitment to innovation in rich media, search and optimization the new drivers of digital advertising. The transaction is expected to close prior to March 31, 2006.
Upon the closing of the acquisition, Thomas Falk, CEO of Falk, will assume the role of President of DoubleClick EMEA and report to Ben Regensburger, President of DoubleClick International, along with Kaylie Smith who will continue to head up DoubleClick Asia Pacific.
By acquiring Falk, DoubleClick will add to its global presence and localisation capabilities with a global development team in St. Petersburg, Russia and additional European offices in Dsseldorf and Amsterdam. DoubleClick will then have sizeable engineering hubs in North America, Europe and Asia dedicated to developing innovative global products and services for local markets. This global presence will help to enhance local customer service, industry expertise and consulting coverage to benefit clients.

DoubleClick International (EMEA & APAC regions) will almost double in headcount upon acquiring the business which will allow for continued investment into new products. The addition of Falks large service team will help deliver strong local customer service. The combined company will also have broad agency and publisher coverage in all key European markets.

Falk clients who transition over to DoubleClick will benefit from DoubleClicks industry leading search, optimisation and rich media capabilities.
AdPepper, one of the largest Falk customers, is among the first to commit to migration following the closing.
