5 startups improving our world sharing their journey and vision on 6 April in Sydney

Sydney, Thursday 16 March 2017 - After a successful edition in February, Startup&Angels is coming back on Thursday, 6 April 2017, from 6pm to 9pm, at Haymarket HQ, 2/63 Dixon Street in Sydney. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the founders of promising startups while networking with fellow investors and entrepreneurs around some wine, beer and tasting delicious products after short and sharp presentations.

Organised by Australiance & Wombat Capital, the 5 successful previous editions of Startup&Angels in Sydney and Phnom Penh allowed more than 50 speakers to be introduced to more than 500 attendees and discovered by thousands of people through its online and offline networks.

The next edition will gather 6 speakers coming to introduce their startups or give some insightful advice about how to develop successful businesses in Australia. Speakers include:

 

Slava Kozlovskii: Co-Founder Eveeh, a startup created to redefine the car rental experience. We only use electric cars and are now expanding by creating a P2P car-sharing platform and a vibrant electric vehicle community.

Paul Towers: Founder Task Pigeon, a task management application that makes it easy to create, assign and manage the tasks that you and your team work on each day. Designed with business users, not developers in mind, Task Pigeon allows you to collaborate on each task within the web app or via email. Founded by Paul Towers, Task Pigeon has also made a commitment to be built as an open and transparent startup, with many of their metrics and lessons shared on their blog.

Vichet In: Founder Media Load, one of the biggest media in Cambodia and Myanmar, with KhmerLoad.com and MyanmarLoad.com, and expending through the whole region. Media Load is a big media group, with already tens of millions of monthly visitors, aiming 1 billion page view in the area. Backed by 500Startups.

James Jordan : Founder & Ceo Sprout Kitchens, a platform for cafe’s and restaurants to rent out their unused kitchen space. Whether you’re building a food delivery empire, arranging a function with catering, or just want to batch your weeks food prep it is now possible to find flexible, low cost, kitchen space.
