Equant Awarded US$18.5 Million Dollar Contract By Global Consulting Giant

- Equant to offer global communications solutions to DMR Consulting -
Equant (NYSE: ENT) (Euronext Paris: EQU) has signed a US$18.5 million contract to provide telecommunications and data services to global consulting giant, DMR Consulting, based in Australia.

Under this five-year agreement, Equant will provide Equant Frame Relay and Equant Secure Gateway Managed Firewall services to more than 40 DMR sites in 22 countries. These Equant services will allow:
DMR employees to access Lotus Notes and conduct internal research securely.
DMR to integrate its SAP, Oracle and Peoplesoft systems into its intranet, connecting its 40+ locations securely to the DMR corporate information system through a single global provider.
DMR will significantly lower its telecommunications and data costs for its corporate services units in Asia Pacific, Europe and South America.

For the past two years, Equant has provided Managed SMTP, intranet and Internet dial services to DMR, and the success of this relationship was the catalyst for the latest international agreement. To ensure the smooth execution of this project, Equant has deployed a highly skilled and experienced global team to support DMR technical and operational
communications needs.
