Announcement posted by Villawood Properties 31 Mar 2017

Henley & Villawood Properties hopeful for record breaking auction day for charity

Prospective purchasers and local families alike will be in for a treat on Friday 14th April as the Henley and Villawood Properties Charity Home goes under the hammer, supported of a stellar lineup of entertainers who have volunteered their time and talents the Royal Children’s Hospital.

The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Good Friday Appeal’s (GFA) Charity Home Auction is one of Victoria’s most loved auction events and one of the biggest contributors to The Appeal each year.  As a No Reserve auction, the Charity Home could see one very lucky bidder securing the stunning family home for a song, though hopes are high that this will be a record-breaking year in terms of funds raised for the Good Friday Appeal.

Going under the hammer is Henley’s stunning double storey Palace 38, situated in Villawood’s Armstrong Mt Duneed Community along the Victorian Surf Coast.

This beautiful home showcases four bedrooms, two bathrooms, powder room, a north facing grand alfresco area, five living areas, home theatre, study and butler’s pantry. It also boasts a gourmet kitchen featuring 40mm Caesarstone benchtops, Italian made SMEG stainless steel extra-large appliances, designer flooring throughout and is styled to the highest level, with everything the lucky buyer requires to move straight in including window coverings, landscaping, driveway and more.

Located at arguably the region’s best address, Armstrong Mt Duneed, buyers of the Charity Home will have access to all the essential attractions and services that make up a new community including schools, shops, parks, and sporting ovals.  Topping this all off is year-round access to the $7.5m state-of-the-art Club Armstrong residents’ facility which features two pools, a tennis court, a gym, a parents room, a café and so much more.

Over 45,000 children were admitted to The Royal Children’s Hospital last year and over 90,000 children were treated in emergency. That’s in addition to the 255,000 children treated at the hospital’s specialist clinics.

For the first time in 2017 the Charity Home Auction will be held in thriving Geelong, which is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and the outpouring of support from local entertainers has been phenomenal.

This year the auction will be supported by a wealth of local talent who have generously donated their time to make this year’s Charity Home Auction the best yet!
