D-Link And Acer Working Together To Provide Intergrated Solutions To The SMB Market
Channel Partners To Benefit With A Greater Product Offering From Both Vendors
D-Link, a worldwide leader in design, development, and manufacturing of networking, broadband, wireless, and communications technologies, and Acer Computer Australia, the Top 3 PC brand in Australia*, today announced that it has formed a partnership, and will be working together to provide integrated solutions to Small and Medium Business (SMB).

"D-Link's specialised technology and products will compliment Acer's PC, notebook, and server based product range," says Maurice Famularo, D-Link Australia's, marketing manager, Australia and New Zealand

"Between Acer and D-Link, we are able to provide an extensive product offering to various markets," says Famularo.

Commenting on the partnership, Acer Computer Australias Marketing Director Raymond Vardanega says, "D-Links technologies compliment our range of products, which means that Acer's Channel Partners will be able to offer customers a wireless and broadband solution that is easily configurable using BuildYourOwn on the Acer Partner eCommerce (APeC) website."

"Additionally, Acer's server and storage product offering will take advantage of D-Link's infrastructure products ranging from blade-based modular switches to entry-level unmanaged switches," continues Vardanega.

The benefits for both D-Link and Acer are a strong Vendor-to-Vendor relationship and the ability to offer cost effective solutions to the market.

The benefits to D-Link are to be able to bundle the right product with PC platform, and the ability to extend D-Link's market reach via Acer's already successful business strategies targeting the SMB and SOHO markets.

An immediate benefit is the recently kicked off relationship to provide ADSL solutions with D-Link, Acer, and Flowcom.
