Activ awarded first prestigious Platinum Partner status
Request Broadband Pty Ltd (Request), leading Australian broadband services provider, has announced that Activ Australia has become the first Request Platinum Partner. Activ was one of the first organisations to join the Request Partner community and has been a Request Partner for two years.
Tim Watson, Activs CEO said, We are delighted to have achieved the highest Request Partnership status level. Our partnership with Request enables both companies to benefit from each other's expertise and resources, ensuring that customers view us as a trusted and valued advisor. We believe our commitment to service excellence, industry-leading support and technical expertise have been deciding factors in making us the first company to meet Requests highest level of Partner accreditation - Platinum.
The award was presented by Request in recognition of exceptional sales and service support. Activ is the sole Request Partner to be granted Platinum Partner status. The Platinum Partner status recognises Activs commitment to providing innovative managed connectivity solutions, real business value and dedicated support to customers using the Request network, said Scott Carter, Request Director of Sales.
Activ has been implementing VPNs for six years and has 450 customers using the companys managed services. The company was attracted to Requests VPN offerings because of the networks robustness and quality the company had had ongoing problems with its incumbent carrier. Watson said, Requests next generation broadband IP Network architecture ensures we can add value to our managed services over time. This includes tailored applications as well as voice and video conferencing.
Activ focuses on managing the core communications needs of businesses wishing to outsource their internet and voice requirements. Further application support (including hosting) and value added services are provided via its solution partners. Our understanding that a properly managed solution requires working closely with the customers IT&T suppliers underpins our success, said Watson.
Activs Solution Partner program was developed to facilitate the delivery of a wide range of complementary services that require high quality communications solutions to work effectively. The company has approximately 70 Solution Partners Australia wide. Our partners bring with them special expertise to address a wide range of horizontal and vertical markets and applications, added Watson.
Request announced its new, revitalised Request Channel Partner program Request Professional Partnership Program (PPP) in July of this year, building on the success of the channel program launched two years ago. The Platinum Partner, Gold Partner, Professional Partner and Channel Partner status levels are dependent on the number of Request services under management and revenue performance.
