Tech Pacific forms partnership with FrontRange Solutions

Announcement posted by Tech Pacific 25 Jul 2001

FrontRange Solutions, creator of the GoldMine customer relationship management software and HEAT help desk application, has entered into a new distribution agreement with Tech Pacific.

FrontRange has been in the Australian market for some time, and has enjoyed stunning success, said Archie Wilson, Vice President, Asia Pacific FrontRange Solutions. Weve now grown to the point where we need to partner with a broad based distributor that has the largest market presence in Australia.

Asia Pacific is the highest growth region for FrontRange, and the SME market segment for CRM is growing much faster than large enterprise. Tech Pacifics dominance in this region and its understanding of its SME resellers make this a very strategic partnership, he said.

Dave Patnaik, Tech Pacifics Software Category Manager, agrees. Tech Pacific is always looking to partner with proven products and companies committed to the reseller channel distribution model, he said. FrontRange Solutions more than satisfies this criteria and were confidently expecting great things from this partnership. Already FrontRange is demonstrating its commitment to the reseller channel through a strong marketing team and its Professional Services Group.

FrontRanges Professional Services Group is an exciting division designed to help resellers customise the product to their customers needs.

Most CRM customers want value-add, said Mr Wilson. These days they expect software to be customised for their own needs. The Professional Services Group is there to train resellers to customise the product. Its free to resellers and the process is really quite simple. Its a brilliant value-add for any customer.

Currently, new software sales account for 80 per cent of FrontRange sales upgrades account for the remaining 20 per cent. Ideally wed like to increase the proportion of upgrades. Well be looking to Tech Pacific to mature the customer base in order to achieve this. Mr Wilson continued.

Employing over 750 people, FrontRange Solutions has regional offices in Pacific Palisades, California and Chicago, Illinois. International offices are located in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Australia and Singapore.
