Techs on the Move Gears Up for 457 & TSS Visa Pathways Changes

Announcement posted by Techs On The Move 18 May 2017

Techs On The Move, a company that provides seamless solutions to skilled international automotive tradespersons, is focused on keeping both clients and candidates updated regarding changes with the scrapping of 457 Temporary Work visa. The Department of Immigration has announced that a newly minted Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa, will commence in March 2018.

The company that assists experienced automotive tradespersons to build a new life in Australia by helping them find jobs and arranging their visas is assuring those who already have the 457 Temporary Work visa that they are safe and have no cause to worry.

Gavin Stocks, Director of Techs On The Move, elaborated on this issue through a video posted on Facebook.  “From our perspective in the automotive industry we’re not overly concerned, the main reason being that all the occupations we tend to focus on being motor mechanic, diesel mechanic, automotive electrician, motorcycle mechanic and panel beater, these trade occupations remain on the Department of Immigration’s medium and long term skill lists. So regardless of this revamp those occupations are still eligible which it is great news,” he said.

Stocks added, “I should mention that the occupation of vehicle painter has been dropped off the list so if that does concern anybody out there that we’re working with, we will be in touch with you directly to talk to you about your options.”

Techs On The Move is committed to help their clients and potential clients understand the current scenario and its impact on their jobs, career and future in Australia. Those who have concerns regarding this may contact them by calling +61 437 041 154 or +61 2 9550 0879. They may also leave a query online on their website.
