Certus Appoints Former Oracle Regional Director Damian Parkes as NSW/QLD State Manager

Certus Solutions, the leading IBM systems integrator in Australia and New Zealand, today announced that it has appointed former Oracle Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand, Damian Parkes as State Manager for New South Wales and Queensland. He commenced his leadership role on the 29th May.
Over the last 28 years, Damian has held a variety of senior leadership roles in sales directorship, general management, channel and alliances across the technology sector, including roles covering Australia and New Zealand, as well as JAPAC and the United Kingdom.
Damian joins Certus from F5 Networks, where he was director of sales for eighteen months.
Much of Damian’s career has been with Oracle, where he worked from 2008 to 2015 in various senior sales management roles including; Regional Director ANZ for Fusion Middleware and finally he headed up Oracle’s organisational transformation sales initiative in the region.
Damian has also worked in sales roles for major technology brands, including Avnet and Unisys.

Outside of work Damian is a keen golfer and enjoys running.
