MODE appoints next generation of leaders

Following the continued strategy of ‘consolidated growth’ across Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam, MODE has announced the promotion of three Directors, two Associate Directors and three Associates within the practice.

The appointment of these second generation leaders will support further development and allow for even greater autonomy and support structures for the 10 national and international MODE studios.

It is expected that these new appointments will continue to accelerate growth exponentially for the practice, as a leader across in all sectors and geographically across Australasia.

As MODE nears closer to a total workforce of 200 full-time employees, the practice is looking for opportunities to further expand in Vietnam, India and Singapore.

Additional growth and specialisation is anticipated within the major sectors of those disciplines offered at MODE, including urban design, master planning, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, graphic design and project management.

MODE Managing Principal, Rhonan O’Brien said the Principal’s are proud to recognise the new Directors, Associate Directors and Associates contributions to the firm’s success with these appointments.

MODE congratulates new Directors: Jenny Culgan (Darwin Studio Manager), Marc Falconer and Megan Rogers (Brisbane studio).

Trung Nguyen (Vietnam Studio Manager) and Brisbane’s Saurin Shah have been appointed as MODE’s Associate Directors, along with MODE’s newest Associates, Brisbane based Manjula Perera, Kuan Ong and Erin Warner who works in the Perth studio.

Mr. O’Brien also said the promotions reflect years of service to MODE and clients, and significant accomplishments in sourcing new projects and exemplifying the values of our firm.

“The eight outstanding individuals who are being promoted to Director, Associate Director and Associate, respectively, have been at MODE for an average of six years and bring 90 years of combined design experience to the firm – a distinguishing characteristic of our team of which we are extremely proud”, said Mr. O’Brien.

With MODE at the forefront of design innovation and brand value to clients, the appointment of these second generation leaders to the firm will allow MODE to meet the continuing demands of a rapidly expanding list of multidisciplinary projects.
