Women’s publisher launches new website

This Woman Can, an online newshub and digital magazine, is launching a new website dedicated to women and young people. The site aims to be a game-changer in women’s publishing by driving content that focuses on women supporting women and education.

The newshub allows women to connect in a safe, online environment and to share their stories and experiences – both the good and bad ones.

“We’re committed to finding new and authentic voices and publishing stories that empower women of all ages and backgrounds to believe that anything is possible and that they can change their future,” said founding editor of This Woman Can, Sarah Cannata.

“We’re not aiming to mimic others in the marketplace or engage with people who simply aren’t our community. This Woman Can is personal for me as the idea came at a time when I’d hit rock bottom professionally and found myself looking for the kind of content that was going to help me through the struggle and overwhelm.”

Ms Cannata added: “It was really hard to find new and authentic voices who I could relate to and I knew I couldn’t be the only woman who felt this way. We’re dedicated to building a community of like-minded women who are passionate about supporting young girls and other women through both the good and bad times.

“The feedback has been overwhelming. We’ve already generated over 6k followers on Facebook and are gradually increasing our reach across Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. Most importantly, it’s the personal feedback from our readers that reiterates that we’re building something that is long overdue for the female market.”
