MERCURY ANNOUNCES MERCURY MANAGED SERVICES FOR SAP NETWEAVER

Mercury Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ: MERQ), the global leader in business technology optimization (BTO), has announced Mercury Managed Services for the SAP NetWeaver platform. The managed service offering enables customers to use hosted Mercury Performance Center and Mercury Business Availability Center solutions to proactively manage end-to-end performance for custom SAP NetWeaver solutions, without investing in any additional infrastructure.
Mercury Managed Services for SAP NetWeaver enables customers to address the challenges of managing performance and ensuring high-quality end-user experience for enterprise deployments serving thousands of users. SAP customers can use the Mercury Managed Services offering to;
Validate end-to-end performance and scalability of automated business processes;
Identify, diagnose and resolve performance issues such as those created by customizations, third-party integrations, and infrastructure changes; and
Proactively manage business-centric service levels from an end-user perspective.
This offering enables SAP customers to work with Mercury Managed Services professionals to help manage their SAP NetWeaver solutions from a lifecycle perspective. Customers can use Mercury Performance Center to conduct load-testing, performance tuning, capacity planning, and pre-production diagnostics for their SAP NetWeaver solution deployments. Customers can also use Mercury Business Availability Center for service level management, configuration management, application mapping, production application diagnostics, and system availability management.

A typical engagement begins with Mercury professionals helping to identify customer business objectives, service level agreements and operational level agreements for their SAP NetWeaver solution deployments. Mercury Managed Services teams will then help create and execute application tests, analyze the results, and tune applications to meet the business objectives. Once applications are tuned and migrated into production, Mercury will help customers monitor applications and the end-user experience to ensure that business requirements continue to be met.
